Il paese del sorriso, e della violenza.

Sinceramente mi sono rotto i coglioni di sentire e leggere il modo "mieloso" e "stucchevole" con il quale si descrive Phuket. A volte sono stato "attaccato" da qualche connazionale "in business sull'isola" perchè racconto "certe cose" che i turisti non devono sapere.
Io sono convinto che bisogna capire e prevenire situazioni che possono portare a gravi incidenti, come rapine, e perfino omicidi! Non far finta di nulla perchè abbiamo paura che i turisti cambino meta, o perchè "ci scade il mito della terra dei sorrisi".
Qui dove abito io a Rawai c'è poco da sorridere specialmente la notte, gli atti di violenza sono all'ordine del giorno, la violenza è parte integrante ed inscindibile dei Thai.
Per il vostro viaggio a Phuket e nel resto della Thailandia ricordate che basta comportarsi come in Italia, fare attenzione a banali regole di sicurezza come non avventurarsi la notte col motorino in vie sperdute, oppure attenzione a controllare gli effetti personali, ecc...
Basta non farsi ingannare dal mito "il paese del sorriso" e quindi abbassare "la guardia", le cazzate che raccontano 4forum in rete, la guida turistica, l'agenzia viaggi "si pagano".

Ho preso solo gli articoli (http://www.phuketgazette.net) degli ultimi mesi riferiti a RAWAI, paese di pescatori non turistico, dove abito io.
Non ho scelto il "casino" di Patong perchè è come "sparare sulla croce rossa"!
