Un mio amico, “vecchia volpe”, che da anni viene a fare le ferie a Phuket mi scrive una mail dove dice NO PROBLEM lui sull'isola ci arriva come sempre.
Sono 2 giorni che è a Bangkok a bestemmiare!
La scelta è 5000THB con la Thai A TRATTA! Oppure 14ore di BUS!
Io non volevo “portare sfortuna” al mio amico pubblicando articolo, ma evidenziare il fatto che ci troviamo davanti ad un enorme problema.
Moltissime persone hanno una prenotazione, hanno pagato la caparra, se non arrivano perdono soldi e tempo rovinandosi la vacanza.
A mio avviso sono stati fatti dei giochi sporchi per i LOW COST favorendo le compagnie che già conosciamo, quella di bandiera in particolare.
Aumenti di carburante, la flessione delle prenotazioni ha preoccupato i signori della “stanza dei bottoni”, così incuranti delle conseguenze hanno preso decisioni che di fatto ledono il turista.

Phuket-bound tourists stranded in Bangkok
PHUKET: Now that One-Two-Go and Nok Air have stopped flying to Phuket, many tourists are unable to find flights to our southern isle.
Angry Finnish tourist Arto Tiitinen called from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok this morning to inform the Gazette that many other irate Phuket-bound tourists were awaiting standby flights.
“I'm surprised that there are not extra flights; now my family must holiday elsewhere. I have no problem with money, it's just that there aren't any tickets to Phuket available for now at any price,” he said.
The Gazette checked the Air Asia website, which showed that airline’s flights to Phuket fully booked until Tuesday.
According to the THAI Airways website as of this morning, the soonest flight available to Phuket is on Tuesday, for 5,495 baht.
Those wanting a cheaper flight to Phuket will have to wait until Thursday, when off-peak flights cost 4,840 baht per person.
Those wishing to be guaranteed seating or lower prices are advised to book well in advance.
As for Mr Tiitinen, “Maybe I’ll take my family to Chiang Mai on holiday instead,” he said.
